Understanding Cyber Risks and Cyber Insurance

• Are you an insurance broker who feels under prepared when it comes to discussing cyber risk with your clients? • Are you confused about the different kinds of cyber risk products and which ones you should be recommending? • Do you want to add cyber insurance into your product portfolio for your clients? Cyber risk is complex to understand - it has evolved at a speed that has caught many businesses off guard and unprepared. It is a risk that every business, regardless of size and industry, is exposed to and therefore a conversation that every insurance advisor must have with their clients. From an insurance advisor's perspective, cyber insurance is still a relatively new, and complex product. There are a number of insurers offering cyber products and it can be confusing to know the best way to advise clients, especially for those brokers not specialising in this area. The fear of giving the wrong advice is understandable. However, the danger of avoiding this conversation with your clients can expose you to an E&O claim, which is something no one wants to have happen. Understanding Cyber Risks, is a 1-day training workshop designed specifically for insurance brokers to: 1. Learn more about the cyber landscape and the associated risks 2. Identify cyber risks facing your clients 3. Understanding the importance of cyber insurance within a broader cyber risk management program 4. Learn more about the different policies available in the market today and how to determine the best one for your clients 5. Navigating the ‘grey zone’ between policies and the regulatory environment At the end of the workshop, you will: 1. Feel more confident about providing the right kind of cyber risk advice to your clients 2. Be able to clearly explain to your clients about cyber risk insurance and the importance of it for their individual situation 3. Improve the level and range of services you are currently offering with the opportunity to close more sales in cyber insurance Location: Level 16, 175 Pitt St Sydney NSW 2000 Cost: $880 (incl GST) per person.
